Yo,

And just as quickly as it started, it's all suddenly over.

I had my last final today for China's Imperial Past, and now the semester is officially over for me. I can't honestly say that I am relieved. I didn't really get that big burst of joyful freedom that I expected. After I left the exam hall, I sort of came to the realization that my study abroad time is more or less over. Now I'm gonna stop right there before I get too sentimental.

I'm gonna seriously just chill out and enjoy my last few days in the country from here on out. See some old sights, and just try to take in everything since I know I'll miss it when I get back. I'll be shopping a whole lot and packing the next few days. Tomorrow I'm gonna close out my Singapore semester with a bang at the long awaited Jay Chou concert. Totally looking forward to that. My parents are coming on December 3. I plan to take them around for two days, then on December 6 is my grand good-bye to Singapore.

I can't really say I'm looking forward to going home. Not because home sucks or anything. I do miss people, and God knows I miss sports, but I just don't know what it'll be like when I get back. One thing is for sure though. Singapore has been a good kick in the pants and was totally the breather that I was looking for away from UCSD. I've been pretty happy here, and I've learned a few things. So maybe I can look at college life when I get back under a new light.

Seeing as how school just ended and my time in Singapore is drawing to a close, this will probably be my last post. I hate xangas and the only point of this thing was to document my study abroad time. I apologize to the two people that read this thing, but you'll have to find something else to do with your time.

As for all of you in the EAP crew, I don't want to get sappy and cry all over myself, but I am truly grateful to have met each and every one of you. I hope that you guys take care of yourselves and are met with success in whatever you guys go on to do. That is unless you cross paths with me. Then I hope I dominate and crush your dreams. Otherwise, good luck to you all.

I'm gonna close out with a quote. I know this is completely corny, totally cliche and very much unlike me, but I think you guys will enjoy this. The context doesn't fit too well. None of us in the EAP crew grew up together (well, Kathy and David seem close enough), none of us are in the dope game (well, except maybe Felix), none of us are pimps (well, except maybe Sanjay), none of us owns a machine gun (well, except maybe Sarah), none of us are black (well, except maybe Carol), and none of us are gangsters (hey, I try my best dammit). But in any case, the sentiment remains the same. So here's a piece from the greatest philosopher of our time:

Ever since you was a pee-wee, down by my knee with a wee-wee
We been coochie-coo all through school, you and me G
Back in the days we played practical jokes on
Everybody smoked with they locs and the yolks on
All through high school, girls by the dozens
Sayin' we cousins, knowin' that we wasn't
But like the old saying goes
Times goes on, and everybody grows
Grew apart, had to part, went our own ways
You chose the dope game, my microphone pays
In many ways we were paid in the old days
So far away from the crazies with AK's
And though I been around clowning with the Underground
I'm still down with my homies from the hometown
And if you need, need anything at all
I drop it all for y'all, if my homies call

-Tupac Shakur

I demand that you all stay happy and healthy.

For the last time, peace out.

Hey,

Chinese Businesses in Singapore is long gone. The countdown begins now dawgs. One more day of finals tomorrow and I am finally free.

Oh man, from now on my personal policy is taking a piss before every final. I am so pathetic and my bladder is so small. I can't sit for friggin' 2 hours without having to run to the bathroom. And holding it seriously messes with your head. For the last half hour of my final today, for every sentence I wrote all I could think of was pee & pee! & PEE! And I was writing about Chinese people too, which made it worse because Chinese people are yellow.

After my final tomorrow, I'm gonna go and celebrate like crazy. I'm gonna get a haircut and buy a DVD.

    Yep.

It's a party up in here.

Suppers,

So I crapped out another final today. Principles of Marketing is officially over. The final was a little weird in that the teacher asked questions that I didn't expect. Oh wells. It's a foreign country, what do you expect?

Two more finals to go. I wish I could just take them now and get it over with. The wait sucks and I want to be free for my last few days in Singapore.

Crazy Daisy setup up a whole Thanksgiving dinner for us tonight. She did it all just to make us feel at home. Because sure as hell Singaporeans have no idea what a pilgrim is, and hell no they've never heard of Native Americans. She's such a nice lady. I didn't join up for the dinner though. I wasn't really in the mood. I was brought food though. It was good.

I feel bored and bland. Finals does that to you I guess.

Hello,

Nothing interesting yet since last time I was here. Went to church yesterday as always. Shopped around afterwards unintentionally as always. Then I got back and studied a bit.

Today will be a little more reading, although I am sort of lost as to what I'm supposed to read. I have three finals left, but I don't really know how to really study for them. Oh wells. I'm also gonna meet up with one of my history teachers today. I'm gonna wash his feet and bathe him in oils until he changes the grade on my last essay. Nah, I'm just kidding. That's sort of gross. We're just gonna talk. I need advice. Honest.

I don't even know if the 49ers are worth mentioning anymore. I have run out of excuses for them. Maybe they just need their biggest fan to come home. Don't worry red and gold, I'll be back in three weeks.

One more week to go and the fun ride comes to an end. The sadness.

As fast as a speeding bullet.

Yo,

Well that's one final down (International Economics I), three more to go. So far so good. Finals are done pretty different around these parts. Instead of taking your final in your classroom, you're packed into a giant hall full of hundreds of kids, and not all of the students are even taking the same final. I kind of felt like a barnyard animal being herded around in some institution. It was actually kind of fun.

I feel kind of guilty. I sort of spent the rest of the day NOT studying. I just went out to Funan and exchanged those headphones I bought. Crud they were awful. Got the Sony MDR-G64SL Street Styles instead. I'm not a huge fan of Sony headphones, and their more mainstream than I usually go, but their new line of street styles are supposedly not utter crap. And I bought a pair that wasn't released in the US, so I'm still special.

Got back, read some dork news, showered, took a nap, and now I'm on this stupid thing. The plan is to watch "The Incredibles" tonight as a little "reward" for supposedly working hard. I totally don't deserve it, but why not just spoil myself? I'm a nice boy overall.

I actually will get to a little reading before going out.

    As strong as a locomotive.
